Recognized for his skills and initiative, Ray was swiftly promoted to the position of Lead Mechanic shortly after joining Kuehne. In this role, he not only continued to maintain equipment but also organized the shop, managed parts procurement and inventory, and ensured timely closure of repair orders. His innovative approach included introducing the concept of integrating a service truck into our fleet, reducing reliance on external vendors for repairs.

On July 6, 2020, Ray achieved another milestone, being promoted to Fleet Maintenance & Equipment Supervisor. In this pivotal role, he supervises operations across Kuehne’s Delaware and New Jersey shops. Ray’s efforts led to the acquisition of a second service truck for Kuehne’s New Jersey location, significantly enhancing breakdown response capabilities. Additionally, he oversees budgets and manages tractor and trailer spec sheets.
